Boston, MA— March 13, 2023 — Clear Point, a leading staffing and recruiting firm that specializes in UX design, technical writing, and e-learning, has joined forces with Reef Consulting, which offers a range of technology staffing and consulting expertise, to provide clients with a far-reaching suite of complementary services.
In addition to Clear Point’s strengths in its long-time specialties, Reef adds significant experience with cloud, DevOps, AI, robotics, infrastructure, ERP/HRIS/CRM, and SDLC/data. And to complement the staffing element of the offering, the Reef team also brings with it years of consulting expertise in all areas of technology including Agile and DevOps.
As part of the merger, Mona Eliassen, a veteran of more than 30 years in the IT staffing industry and the founder of The Eliassen Group, will take on the role of CEO for the newly expanded Clear Point. “I’ve always taken a great deal of satisfaction out of playing a meaningful role in making clients a success,” said Eliassen. “I’m thrilled by the opportunity for our new organization. Clear Point’s founder Carol Szatkowski, who started the company in 1989, will stay on and help guide the company into the future as a strategic adviser and salesperson. Szatkowski, who has grown Clear Point from a local Boston-based staffing agency to a national firm with a solid reputation for UX design, technical writing, and e-learning recruitment, is equally as excited about the future.

Joining Mona Eliassen on the Clear Point leadership team will be Carrie Driscoll, a long-time leader in professional services, who will be president of Clear Point and the head of their Reef agile practice. Also joining the leadership team as vice president of sales and recruiting is Matt Gleckman, who has served in numerous leadership roles across technology staffing and consulting firms.
For Driscoll having staffing and consulting together on the same team makes the overall offering that much stronger. “We can now offer our clients a holistic strategy for addressing product and organizational effectiveness and efficiency,” explained Driscoll. “When combined thoughtfully, the sum of these critical services is even more powerful than the parts.
