Leading Financial Platform Taps Clear Point to Recruit New Hires

CAIS’s newest offering is a modern learning system for advisors called CAIS IQ. With CAIS IQ advisors can get smart on exactly what they need to know about alternatives and more, in just minutes a day. When it came time to fill a series of new roles for this division focused on content curation and learning design, the team realized they needed an expert of their own.

“We had never made a hire like this before, so we didn’t quite know what we were looking for,” said Alessandra van der Meulen, the Director of People Experience at CAIS; however, van der Meulen and her team did know that whoever they selected for these new roles would need to be entrepreneurial, quick-thinking, and eager to absorb company culture.

To find candidates with the right mixture of soft and hard skills, CAIS turned to Carol Szatkowski and the team at Clear Point to help select and vet potential hires.

While van der Meulen had worked with many recruiters up to that point, she was impressed with Clear Point’s eagerness to understand the company’s unique needs.

This deep dive approach allowed the Clear Point team to find candidates with relevant backgrounds and interests that would fit seamlessly into CAIS operations, rather than taking a scattershot approach. As a result, they were able to identify candidates with backgrounds in content and learning development who also had strong writing skills and a grounding in finance.

Working together, Clear Point and CAIS were able to fill two critical roles with new hires who have “received praise from managers, their team, and the whole firm,” van der Meulen said.
