Our client is seeking an Instructional Designer for a 6 month contract to assess, plan and deliver blended learning solutions for an enterprise service center, including call center, claims and billing that will enhance the user’s experience.  The job is remote or hybrid.

MA residents only.  Ability to meet once a month in Watertown office required.  Vaccination required.

The Instructional Designer will be embedded in the documentation and learning team and will look at the pain points, figure out the best media to use to deliver training to address them, work with SMEs, write scripts and storyboards, and produce the actual deliverables. They will need to own and drive the process.
To meet these objectives the instructional designer needs to be experienced in devising learning strategies e.g. , case study, simulation, for online delivery applying the ADDIE or similar model to the design and development of learning. The instructional designer also needs to be experienced in working with Subject Matter Experts in extracting the concepts to be taught and then creatively and innovatively designing learning that is engaging and effective for learners.

Required Skills:
• Learning needs assessment and experience suggesting innovative eLearning solutions
• Consulting skills: ability to work collaboratively with Subject Matter Experts
• Deep familiarity with eLearning design tools: Articulate/Storyline, Captivate, Camtasia , Lectora etc.
• Deep familiarity with the learning development process, storyboarding etc.
• Experience working in an agile environment
• Experience meeting deliverable deadlines
