Description: We have a large telecommunications client looking for 2 contract trainers to train installation, maintenance and operations technicians in broadband wireless technologies.
The company has recently acquired another company in New England with a land line base that is being converted to a wireless broadband. Training will be done on various technologies including: Cisco, Occam, Lucent, Ciena and Alcatel using existing course materials with some customization. Audience needs will vary. Training will take place in New Hampshire, Maine and Vermont, expect about 50% travel. Expected length of contract 9 months.
Mandatory Skills and Qualifications:
- BS degree
- Minimum 3-5 years of recent platform technical training experience for network and communication companies
- Experience using one or more of these wireless broadband technologies: Cisco, Occam., Lucent, Ciena, and Alcatel
- Experience creating training materials
- Excellent knowledge of English grammar and usage
- Strong understanding of network technology
- Project planning and time management skills required
- Willingness to travel to client sites (up to 50%)
